Simon Knocker established it-connects in 2002 to support organisations in delivering change by providing both the programme or project management capability along with other specialist resources to ‘make great ideas happen’. In 2017 it-connects changed its name to thebigteam to reflect its breadth of capability and the ability of our small team to operate as a ‘big team’.
Since 2002 we have delivered numerous projects, large and small, for a variety of clients. Many have been ground breaking, like the Audi Cam Project in 2010, and some award winning, like the Trade Parts Project in 2007.
All have been challenging, innovative and great fun.
The clients have varied hugely, all have looked for something special and different to make it happen for them; the Police looked for creativity in their management development and intelligence programmes, Audi for market leading innovation and customer experience through Audi Cam, Volkswagen Group looked for delivery focus when rolling out a new system to 721 retail sites and 10,000 people in six months, and RCI Financial Services for ‘insightful’ and life changing interventions for their people in their bespoke competency based 360-degree programme.
Overtime we have learnt the importance and influence of culture in making things happen and making them stick; cultural assessment and cultural dialogue now plays a pivotal role in the programmes and projects we deliver.
Our core proposition is Change Management that delivers Organisation Transformation and / or Personal Transformation. Every engagement is unique and requires a bespoke solution delivered through a robust, rigorous and proven set of delivery tools.
